Rooflight
CLC EVOLIGHT & CLC EVOLIGHT AIR
Rooflights can be located practically anywhere on the roof, allowing for better illumination of areas that are most important to us, such as circulation paths or locations of devices and machinery. Rooflights will successfully illuminate the entire object, not just the part directly in their location as is the case with facade windows.
Types of offered arched and duo-pitched rooflights:
- Roof slope rooflights
- Ridge rooflights
- Rooflights crossing the ridge
The coverings of rooflights are made in an aluminum profile system with a filling of multi-chamber polycarbonate with a UV filter, classified as SRO and Broof(t1) (non-flammable).
The base of the rooflight is standardly made of galvanized steel sheet with a minimum zinc coating of Z275 (275g/m2) or ZM310 (310g/m2 – magnelis coating) and thickness from 1.5 to 3.0 [mm] depending on the architecture of the building.
We offer the execution of bases in two variants:
- Standard – continuous structural support required around the entire perimeter of the rooflight
- Self-supporting – point support max. 6m axially, continuous across the width
The bases are adapted for external insulation with insulating material from 50 to 150[mm] thick.

The advantage of rooflights is their light, yet solid and durable construction, allowing our clients to enjoy them for many years.

ROOFLIGHTS – NATURAL LIGHTING FOR YOUR SPACES FROM CALMTEC ROOFLIGHTS
The term “rooflights” refers to an innovative architectural solution that is installed on the surface of flat and sloped roofs. CALMTEC Rooflights’ rooflights are produced according to the current needs of the project. Moreover, we offer professional installation of the devices and the necessary service services.
The main task of a rooflight is to provide natural lighting inside the facility. This way, it allows for a reduction in expenses associated with the use of electric energy. It is worth noting that the lighting from the rooflights is even within the rooms over which they are installed.
Natural light, in turn, is true comfort for the eyes of people inside the building. Thanks to the rooflights, the eyes do not get tired as quickly as they do with artificial light sources. Moreover, it should not be forgotten that natural light has an exceptionally positive effect on well-being and helps minimize the feeling of fatigue.
Rooflights can be equipped with accessories that allow for increasing their utility in the building. For example, the use of ventilation flaps is a valuable way to provide fresh air, which improves working conditions and increases the level of safety. The ventilatory function of the rooflights is also a good option for ensuring the right temperature in the rooms.
Modern rooflights are characterized by a high self-cleaning effect. This way, the flow of natural light remains at an optimal level for a long time. Moreover, it allows for reducing costs associated with the need for their frequent cleaning. What are the other advantages of rooflights?
ADVANTAGES OF ROOFLIGHTS INCLUDE, AMONG OTHERS:
- Lighting interiors of facilities with natural daylight – reducing the consumption of electric energy;
- Safety – evacuating smoke, poisonous gases, toxins, and hot air;
- Ventilation – ventilating the building;
- Modular construction – allows for designing and producing rooflights of any length;
- A wide range of multi-chamber polycarbonate panels – adaptation to the individual needs of the client;
- Painting in any color from the standard RAL palette – adaptation to the architecture of the building and its surroundings;
- The possibility of anti-corrosive protection up to class C5 – increasing resistance to harmful atmospheric conditions;
- Light, yet solid and durable construction – allows our clients to enjoy them for many years.
It is also worth emphasizing the universal application of rooflights. Rooflights can be installed in various types of properties. Starting from industrial buildings (e.g., production halls, laboratories), educational facilities and sports facilities (e.g., halls, ice rinks), and ending with various public use institutions (e.g., courts, offices).
